Garrett Robinson is a recent addition to Shifman & Carlson, P.C. His earlier experience as an attorney included representing and advising school districts and public school academies on a variety of issues, including the Open Meetings Act, Revised School Code, Freedom of Information Act requests, as well as labor and employment disputes. Garrett also has experience in the areas of landlord-tenant law, contract disputes, and tort litigation.
As a former teacher, Garrett cares deeply for the success of public school academies in Michigan. Garrett understands the struggles of running a successful public school academy in the state of Michigan, and keeps that in mind when working with his clients.
Garrett graduated magna cum laude from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College. While in law school, Garrett served as the Lead Articles Editor for the Ohio Northern University Law Review.
